I have changed my hairstyle from an afro to relaxed hair and I seem to have not moved. What now?
I have placed my CV in a couple of places and I'm still waiting for call backs. It's like I have this cloud over my head that's preventing me from getting a job, I call, I fax, I've included my entire work history on my CV, I've waited and now I'm starting to lose hope.

Taxi Accident on TV...
On Monday the was a news report on TV about a taxi accident that occurred in Machadodorp, Mpumalanga, South Africa which my mother watched. After the report she was contacted by my aunt. Two family members where in the taxi, one was the driver, the other (my cousin) a passenger.
She has gone to Machadodorp (from Gauteng) to see what has happened to him, with the only news not been confirmed, it's like we have not had any solid info on his condition. I am preying that he is ok.

Unemployed and Scammed!
Looking for a job or work is hard, frustrating and not forgetting discouraging.
The are thousands of sites and places that are hiring and some require no experience and with all the scams that are out there ready for desperate job seekers, taking you on a ride and providing false hope. It is easy to give up and depend on someone else. I can't help but wonder where to look for work which reminds me why people say the are no jobs, how can we check the legitimacy of the offers, are the sites for job seekers checking the ads placed on their websites for scams? Who can I trust?
Why would an online job offer require you to pay a fee? Whether it be by credit card or deposit, if your looking for work that means you don't have money. I've had plus five sites ask me for money before they can contact/phone me about the job I applied for or inquired about, I'm tempted to borrow the money as I'm desperate but that is what alarms me. I think the fact that at some point you become desperate in your job search is what they count on to override your common sense. At the same time, I wonder if there are legitimate jobs that require you to pay a fee?
Again, I remind you of the desperate nature of a job search once you have been sitting at home for six months.

Waiting!
I'm sitting outside my Church after my brother told me that the priest wanted to see us at 14:30. His not here yet (being hopeful) and I know this was a scum to get us to go to Young practice.
I'm shocked to see that he has resorted to tricks [oldest way to get people into church] and I'm openly accepting it. I haven't been to church in a week, I haven't got an issue or problem, I just wish for something divine and I'm not sure what.
The questions that have been bothering me are; why am "I" going to church? Why am I christian? And Why? I don't want to be a blind follower.

African Fashion on the move.
A couple of years ago we never dreamed of competing with the world but simply wanted to imitate their styles, from the African speech present by former president of South Africa Thabo Mbeki and to African designer dresses walking the red carpet. How the charity case has blossomed!
African fashion has come a long way from being something that tourist took home to hang on their walls, to beautiful clothes that show how fashionable they are and how world class African fashions are. Our designers are innovative, inspired by the beauty around them, and because they are african, they have the right to do traditional garment or modern designs. They have earned their place and are taking advance of these opportunities.
In South Africa, new and old designer are opening boutiques, allowing consumers easy access, plus the ordinary consumer in South Africa is more aware of the clothes they wear and demand more options. South Africans could be seen as a very watchful group of consumers when it comes to internet shopping (they don't trust the person on the other side) which could be one of the reasons why designers here are opening boutiques, for the rest of the continent opening a boutique may not be an option which is why sites are available to sell their designs. Sites like www.dupsies.com/ and www.africafashionguide.com/ provide international markets or consumers with a place to get their hands on Africa. Clothes without having to come to Africa just for one outfit.
I believe that more sites like this are needed, it's about time Africa designers showed the world their talent, we have the best designers and this is our time.

Unbelievable! The Blackberry lied...
Blackberry users have been fooled, the is a limit.
When one purchases a Blackberry they expect unlimited internet access but that is not the case like politicians. Blackberry or the service provides have found a way to limit how much access users can have, if you have a Blackberry you should have by now realised that you are unable to make downloads above 40MB. Whether your using "UC browser" which operates/users BIS or a "built-in browser" this applies to you, on calling your service provider your told about the 100MB limit p.m but still you are able to download above 40MB.
Maybe it is time other cell phone manufactures considered providing internet services like Blackberry and more. Most people only have Blackberries because of the internet service and that is the sole reason for buying a Blackberry. I would personally buy any smartphone if it also offered internet services and all the smartphone benefits.
NOKIA, SAMSUNG, LG and all manufactures do you lack the skills to do this? Are you unable to deliver what users really want from their phones? Blackberry is no long the brand I recommend to my friends, it has limits and I feel lied too. Don't you!

Be Sexy and love it!
Fashion is the most important thing to a woman whether you admit it or not. When you wake up in the morning and immediately you need to decide, whether it is the latest or not.
One design whom I think is great is Toni Francesc, she is amazing. Her designs are sophisticate, famine and just to die for. Don't take my word for but see for yourself.
