Been that I mostly eat organic veg's and I know this because they are not mass produced which may be a narrow view. The idea of my vegetable been 70/30 chemical use to organic growth makes me afraid for my future health. I have and will continue to blame most of the worlds disease on the type of food we eat not forgetting all the medications we take. I believe that we need to pay attention and make informed decisions, trusting your supplier is not an option thanks to greed and the absence of something.
As consumer, we should have more say as to what we grow, sell, buy and ultimate eat. Governments should also take an initiative to control imports and impose laws that promote safer decision from our suppliers (been farmers or manufactures), as a consumer we should demand these thing a more.
Do we not have rights a consumers/living beings? Do we not care?
