Job Search Headache!

When applying for jobs it is important to also reply when contacted either to schedule an interview or provide further info in order to land the job but it is not as simple. As a seeker I have noticed a number of things that make it very hard to reply correctly to interviews and this has me asking what is difficult about being procises.

As a recruiter I would assume that you don't want your time to be wasted and you have made provisions . With that said, for the past six months I have been applying and replying but some email replies fail to info me of the sender like the company name and who they are.

Stating your company name is one way to avoid incorrect replies, with personalise replies been time consuming especial with the possible hundreds of applicants sorting them according to the positions available and been applied is something you should invest time in, hire an assistant if you have to I'm available. The purpose of this sorting is to allow you the recruiter the option of an uniformed replies to JobSeeker that contain the position that's been applied for, company name and include phone numbers.

Imagine that your applicants have not only applied for one position but two or three and your company is just one of the lucky three, now read this;

"Dear Candidate

You showed some interest in a vacancy we advertised.

We are currently preparing a short-list for interview purposes, and need the following from you:

Please send us a recently updated CV, together with a recent photo of yourself, as well as all available supporting documents such as reference letters and proof of education.

Please also include a short half page motivational note explaining why we should consider you for this position.

Please send this in one batch to Xxxxx Xxx at fax: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you are successful.., interviews will be held within the next 10 business days.

Your urgent attention to this matter is vital to proceed with the application process.

Awaiting your prompt response.

Regards

Xxxxxxxx xxx
Xxxxx xxxx "

This is a lovely reply it provided the interviewers personal name and fax but not the company name. Even recruitement companies should invest in providing more details to applicants as they are paid to find the best person, I want a paying job but I also want to know who you are, in my opinion your a fraud unless I can google you or visit your physical address. Another thing, don't ask me for money! I wouldn't be looking for a job if I had money.
